The module brings together material from a range of historical approaches in order to provide an interdisciplinary module that will function as a satisfactory introduction to history and historiography for students interested in all branches of historical study. Its combination of substantive and historiographical material enables the module to be used as a free-standing guide for those humanities students who are not based in History but who wish to take an elective module in the subject.
