The research dissertation is the fundamental piece of independent research work upon which the Geography degree is based. The dissertation is a substantial, independent piece of research that represents the culmination of substantive and core training in Geography. An important component of the dissertation is the annual Senior Honours Research Conference at which all students present their work to members of the school and to Junior Honours students in either oral paper sessions or scientific poster sessions.
