Global Concepts is intended to provide students with a broad-based knowledge of the traditions of political thought and argument that developed from ancient times to the present. In addition to studying the ancient and modern traditions associated with major states and empires, the module studies the intertwining of political and religious argument, in the form of the influence upon political concepts of the philosophies associated with many of the most significant world religions
