This module builds on the knowledge of Russian gained in RU4101. The course concentrates on the development of your ability to communicate in different areas of social life (both oral and written) using the appropriate linguistic register. The module comprises oral, written and listening comprehension components. Oral tuition forms an important element of this module, with the emphasis on single-person reports and group discussions covering a range of topics as well as “Current Affairs”.
