This module will build upon the skills already gained in the Honours programme. This module is mandatory for all Honours programmes containing a Russian element. It deals with the practical problems of essay writing in Russian, translating from English into Russian, AV comprehension and speaking. Oral tuition forms an important element of this module, with the emphasis on single-person reports and group discussions covering a range of topics as well as “Current Affairs”. Both hours are interconnected and supplement each other.

Pre-requisite(s): Before taking this module you must pass RU3102 or pass RU3101 or pass RU3301 or pass RU3302
