This module aims to develop the philosophical skills of literature review, accurate exposition, clear analysis, and critical thinking for oneself, by writing a dissertation on a selected topic, with the supervision of a tutor. Students must apply to do a dissertation during early pre-advising.

Pre-requisite(s): Before taking this module you must pass PY1006 or pass PY1012

Anti-requisite(s): You cannot take this module if you take PY3803 or take PY4698 or take PY4802 or take PY4701
