Planned timetable:
This module allows students to undertake an in-depth investigation into issues within or related to the field of Terrorism Studies and to prepare a 15,000-word (approximately) dissertation. The dissertation will make use of skills acquired during the Taught Postgraduate modules undertaken during the programme to identify, investigate, analyse and report upon an area of contemporary concern or interest. Supervision of the dissertation will be provided by a member of CSTPV faculty. This will take the form of at least three scheduled meetings, and the review of draft written materials prepared by the student. This module is only available to students who are completing the MLitt in two years.
Co-requisite(s): You must also take IR5955 and take IR5954
Anti-requisite(s): You cannot take this module if you take IR5998
Weekly contact: Students will have a minimum of three meetings with their supervisor, scheduled by agreement.
