Planned timetable:
This module continues the work undertaken by Theories and Contexts 1, introducing students to a second selection of critical approaches central to the programme of study on the degree. Classes will both consolidate existing knowledge and introduce new directions and possibilities for discussion. Attention will continue to be paid to historical and interdisciplinary contexts, and to the intersectional complexity of contemporary debate in gender studies. The open and exploratory approach of the seminars will continue to provide a space within which students can experiment with ideas and question the discourses shaping the discipline.
