Planned timetable:
The main aim of this module is to introduce students to the preferred style and structure of work produced for assessment on an undergraduate degree programme at the University of St Andrews. Students will practise and develop skills and strategies to enhance the quality of their coursework and improve examination techniques. Classes are designed to assist comprehension of ideas, issues, concepts and theories, and will provide opportunities for reporting and explaining as well as discussion and debate both in class and through regular homework tasks, formative assessment and feedback.
Weekly contact: 5 seminar classes per week x 10 weeks. 5 hours of scheduled revision week sessions
