  • Students will develop practical project-management and team work skills, learning how to work together to plan and handle the different elements of a complex public engagement project and respond to setbacks and risk.
  • Students will build on their understanding of communicating with public audiences and of making research accessible using museum collections.
  • Students will understand how the different roles and teams within a museum and/or heritage organisation function and how they interact, gaining experience in one of these roles.
  • Students will learn the different metrics for evaluating the success of a public engagement project and will gain practical experience of using and applying these.
