This 10-credit module provides an introduction to digital content and its use in the museum sector. As its focus, the module will explore the role of digital content in the museum sector. Lectures will focus on key topics such as understanding digital content and its use in the museum, creating content for social media, the web, and podcasts, and considering audiences. The module will provide students with the opportunity to develop skills attractive to a career in the museum and heritage sector.

Learning and teaching methods and delivery

Weekly contact: 1 lecture (X6 weeks), 1 seminar (X6 weeks). Both lecture and seminar will be delivered via Teams
