This module addresses interpretation and criticism of medieval sources. It concentrates upon a selected central body of documentation and its associated problems and introduces appropriate skills training. Both sutdents already familiar with the challenge of medieval sources and newcomers are welcome.

Learning and teaching methods and delivery

Weekly contact: 1.5-hour seminar and individual tutorials as required.
