This module is interdiscplinary and addresses issues such as: conservation policy and management, methods for estimating population sizes for species, biodiversity and ecosystem function and the use of digital tools to explore and conserve the environment. Issues around the conflicts between different human communities associated with the exploitation of biological and mineral resources will also be discussed.
