The module aims to enable students to understand the development and terminology of aspects of classical Arabic scholarship, to help them understand the structures that underpin the Arabic language, and to support them through encounters with a representative selection of important classical Arabic sources.
Pre-requisite(s): Before taking this module you must pass AR2002
Co-requisite(s): You must also take AR3401
