This module explores the history and development of theology in Latin America from 1968 to 2004, he period from the Conference of Medellin (1968) to the publication of Petrella's The Future of Liberation Theology (2004). The module considers the work of Gutiirrez, Boff, Irarrazaval, Tamez, and Romero among others and their contribution to contemporary eco-theology, inculturation and political theology.
